The song was originally uploaded to Youtube on August 9, 2013, with a lyric video following shortly after on August 13 the same year. The official music video premiered on January 27, 2014, six months before the album was officially released.
An acoustic version of the song, as well as a remix, was included in the Deluxe version of the album released February 12, 2016.
